It’s about choppy seas, serene seas,  squeegee abstracts and oil paint for Allan Storer, who paints and exhibits in St. Ives and London. 

Whether it is painting the contrasting challenge of a strong surf and the tranquillity of a quiet evening sea, in St. Ives or squeegee abstracts in the hustle and bustle of the city, Allan enjoys both in equal measure. 

A published artist in the National Collection Public Catalogue, Foundation of Paintings, sponsored by the BBC., he has showcased his work with the Royal Institute of  Oil Painters, the Mall Galleries London, Swansea Museum, Glynn Vivian Art Gallery, Swansea, The World Rugby Museum, Twickenham, Llangollen International Pavilion, Tate St. Ives. Minotti Knightsbridge, London, the National Trust, South Wales and a lot more. 

A Brief Synopsis to Date: Private Collections and Commissions, include the BBC, Rugby Football Union, World Rugby Museum, a Royal household, Wetherspoons, politicians and celebrities including three international figures namely a composer, Hollywood name and Scottish author. 

In 2014 Allan  was proud to provide ten large abstract paintings for the Grand Prix guest apartments in Monaco and a spate of executive villas and developments in Southern France followed.

 He has painted for the North American Rugby Playoffs, USA rugby national tournaments, event logos and merchandise as far away as Colombia.

 Media related includes; paintings for CD album covers, a television Detective series and an HTV Wales documentary.   

Published in the Artist and Illustrators Magazine as a competition winner, and several features in the arts sections of the South Wales Evening Post, Western Mail and St Ives Times and Echo, Allan is proud his work was once the subject of a students university degree course and also a school project.

 A member of the Federation of British Artists, the Hesketh Hubbard Art Society, and the St. Ives Art Club. Allan Storer facilitates art classes in London and is a respected lecturer on Surrealism

"My largest abstract painting to date, is a canvas eight feet in width, twenty-four feet in height extending from the ground floor entrance hall through the mezzanine to the first-floor landing of a luxurious show home in Chelsea, London, as part of a large interior art project by McAlpine development."
