I have always been fascinated by the movement of the physical form, whether it’s an athlete or an animal.  I love the beautiful shapes of the muscular body and how that can tell a story of the past and present. To capture the detail and character of the subject, I use clay and in the case of a commission, the sculpture can always be adjusted at this stage, before it is finally cast in bronze or resin.

I am very lucky that I have developed a following of animal art lovers, whether it’s a beloved pet, or a commission for a house or garden. I try to capture the given emotion and take in to account the surroundings, light and texture. Sculptures are wonderful to touch and hold, also, this can be a beautiful gift to leave to the next generation
